Fell 10th September 1813

Location – Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland

Total known weight – 50kg

Circumstances – Following reports of sounds  described as being like “dreadful thunder” a shower of stones fell dispersing fragments from north of Patrickswell to Adare, some 3 miles to the southwest. Many fragments were recovered and one piece found at Scagh was picked up very soon after the fall and was described as still being warm to the touch.
