Location – Beddgelert, Snowdonia, Wales

Total known weight – 749g

Circumstances – The Beddgelert meteorite fell onto the Prince Llewelyn hotel owned by Mr and Mrs Tillotson. After hearing his dog barking in the night Mr Tillotson woke up to hear some booms. He thought no more of it and it wasn’t until the next day that his wife found a hole in the roof and plaster dust covering the furniture. The meteorite was then found lying on the floor.
